Eden is a French duo: Hubert Vrayance, who composed the music (Hammond organ, bass pedals, synthesizers, vocals) and Allan Lys (drums, congas, percussions).
Eden released one album in (1979). Information on them is scarce and so focus will be given here on their music which is more simplistic and more straightforward in their approach (compared to others in this genre). Melodic, yet outdated in sound, they start their tracks with a main theme upon which they add more layers of sound and more ideas. Each track is depicting a different theme, idea or scene. For instance, the first track "La Nuit Des Sorciers" (The Night Of The Wizards) is about "silhouettes dancing to the rhythm of winds in a dense wood under a strange moon"…

These entirely instrumental recordings were created in the late 1970s at Peter Baumann’s Paragon Studio. This stellar period gave rise to the finest works: the Con, Consequenz and Con 3albums, featuring such wonderful pieces as Fata Morgana, Coca and Auf dem schwarzen Kanal. These recently discovered pieces take the aforementioned albums a stage further. Sounds complementeach other as they are reprised, whilst continuing to exist in their own cosmos. As you listen, you feel asif you have been transported back into the studio itself while the sessions are happening.

Jonathan is a Progressive Electronic band from Germany with one self titled album released in 1978 on Heinz Ulm's AAR, and rereleased on Bellaphon Label. The band consisted of Peter Garrattoni who played drums, and was accompanied by Helmut Grab who played keys and electronics. Helmut focussed on Minimoog, Rhodes, Roland, and Solina. Peter Garattoni also was a part of the project playing drums. They were accompanied by Emil Wirth on bass on 'Funky's Visit', and Uli Buehl played a Roland synth on 'Raising Winds', along with Fender Rhodes on 'Waters' and also playing Grand Piano on 'Moved Earth'. The album is very obscure and has become a curiosity over the years with the front-side being colour artwork, and the backside of the cover being black and-white. The band is instrumental with keyboards dominating and a synthesizer sound emanating, with some 70's fusion rhythms…

Live versions that are even better than the wonderful album tracks. Stronger synthesizer sounds accompanied by real drumming makes for a very dynamic CD that meanders through atmospheric tempos with every song to reach the marvelously varied guitar and drum crescendos of the last three pieces.

Kitaro's first several years of solo albums starting with 1978's "Ten Kai" are mostly full-blown space-music discs, very much comparable in parts to Klaus Schulze, Vangelis and even moments of Eloy and Pink Floyd. But it all started with this superb and eclectic instrumental debut, loaded with deep-space electronic soundscapes with light Eastern flavours and drifting ambience, but it's also frequently experimental and maybe even a little trippy!

"These pieces were created live in the studio using only electric guitar, looping and live processing with the exception of support from the lone Oberheim Xpander on "Lattice." Since the late 90’s after picking up a guitar left in the Timeroom after a Dust to Dust session, it all started. I proceeded to tune it to an open chord that was pulling me in deep, and I never looked back. Since that time I have continued to develop my own approach as a way to finger-paint these emotional, evocative moodscapes. This sound was fully realized on Midnight Moon, Streams and Currents, and all throughout the Fever Dreams releases, just to name a few. It continues to weave its way into my music up to now. While just the tip of the iceberg, these select pieces map out this mode of creating from over the last 20 plus years. It will likely be released publicly later this year. At times I might not touch the instrument for a months or longer, and I currently feel it's pulling on me again. This guitar-based ambience will be coming back into my new music during 2021

This was one of several mysterious albums released in limited batches in Germany by the Pyramid label in the mid-'70s and apparently sold mostly through art galleries and other unconventional retail sources. After 1974 the major labels were no longer interested in creative Krautrock and so Pyramid undertook to keep the spirit of this genre alive for another few years. These artists and records were so unknown that when they started being reissued on CD, many people thought they were a hoax. The Nazgul were one of the high points, once one gets past their peculiar fixation with J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings.
